The number of people you investigate does not matter. This was a deliberate choice for the jam because I wanted everyone to be able to play and finish the game. So you don't need to feel pressured into investigating as many people as possible :)

I guess I could've made the time scale a setting. In fact that's already kind of a thing because I set it to be 1s = 1h in the Unity editor for testing purposes :D

Yes, they are just categories. So there will always be "What's your purpose" and depending on the data, it will respond differently

The game is  so beautiful. I love the character portraits and the audio. It is also well-programmed. I will say that as someone that dislikes cooking games, I didn't play it for very long, but I can appreciate how well it is made.

Ohhh

The art looks very cool! If I can give you a tip: if you are moving your character via a rigidbody, you can use interpolation to stop pixel art characters from glitching like they do right now

Eventually no animals would spawn, is that a bug? Also: what's the purpose of look away? It looks beautiful but maybe I missed something?

It gets quite repetitive and the sound choice is not the best imo. But it's a little hard to explain or pinpoint

The colours are nice and its very polished regarding the sprites and animations. But the game loop gets old very fast. It reminds me of "Leaf it Alone" but in 2D it just doesn't have that level of satisfaction because the controls are clunky. But maybe it's because I'm playing on a QWERTZ keyboard.

Whoah there's so much effort put into this. The animations, the parallaxing, the godrays / post processing. The music starts off strong but gets super annoying quick.

Microsoft Edge. But i thought there was something wrong with the cutscene audio. But if there is none, I'll just play it again later ! :)

This is very impressive. I'm not a fan of cooking-games (at all) but I can respect the polish you put into this. The artwork is amazing, the music is nice (although it gets over the top at some points), and the animations are super smooth.

Ohhh this actually reminds me of a game I once played. Can't remember the name but I loved it. Anyway, it's fun albeit very short. It has no connection to the jam (theme & limitation), and the controls are hard to fire out. I agree with the others that you definitely need a tutorial.

A unique puzzle game (and that's a feat in itself)! Everything is very coherent: the shapes and colours are distinct and the UI adheres to the correct order. I would have liked if I could see the "How to Play" button in the gameplay scene again. I had to F5 to remind myself.

Very polished and look stunning. I would have wished for more polish on information told the player like "you are going to turn around in 3 moves". Also the arrows are hard to see on the similar background colour. Maybe an option to have a background panel or a stern contrast would be nice

This reminds me of the arcade minigame in Stardew Valley in a good way :) The art is nice, and the music is not distracting (although it sounds very metallic). I will say, that the jam's limitation was done right, but I didn't like it in this game. The levels being randomised felt frustrating to me  as a player. I always wanted to remember where to go, but couldn't. So you go from room to room and often you encounter the exact same enemies 3 times in a row.

The art looks so pretty. But before playing: I think there's no audio on my end? Not sure if that's a mistake. Tell me if it's a bug or something, then I will just play the game without audio :)

The game is very pretty! And now that I know that there's a farm to the right, it was actually playable for me :D

Here's some feedback:

- the music and pop sounds work very well. I would have wished for some more sounds though, for example when clicking stuff

- When collecting your pumpkins, an attraction / magnetic force of sorts would be nice. Maybe via an upgrade / upgradable force? I often found myself having to walk into pumpkins and having to get out of my way, if that makes sense? It would also be useful if the loot object checked for collision on Update. See in this screenshot how I had to walk out and into the collider again.

-

- Finally, I would have wished for some pumpkin variety. Maybe 1 in 100 is a golden pumpkin worth tenfold?

- I appreciated that you serialized the scene data. I feared that when I exited the scene my progress on the other pumpkins would be lost, but nope! Thanks for that

Thanks for the feedback. Could you tell me what issue s you were having with the UI

The art is so pretty! And the leaf blowing animations <3

If I can give you a tip, you can scale up the canvas height in the "Edit" tab in itch.io to make up for Unity's footer bar. That's why it's currently cut off.

Reminds me very much of the game "Kill the Crows". Music is banging but too loud. Also annoying that there's no way to restart when game over. But the most important thing: it's fun! Good job. Gut gemacht

A very nice little puzzle game! :)

The two dimension thing is so cool, how does that even work technically? :o (an honest question to the programmer in your group :D )

The gameplay itself isn't that exciting (and honestly I think I just collected like 4 trash pieces), but the limitation is very clever. I think a simple sprint button would add a lot to the game already. There are also some small issues you can fix, like masking / Y-sorting.

Reached out to you on discord! Feel free to add me if you want:)

1. it's not "new" or "innovative"

2. let's be honest, no one's gonna play it longer than 3 minutes

Hey another meta game haha!

The audio is so stressful in a good way :D

The arrow keys did work for me (Windows)

Would you like to join the meta game? You can basically add an achievement and give players a reward for unlocking it. Maybe reaching an exit with more than 5 seconds on the clock?

This is pretty cool!  I like how you set up your itch page as well. Would you like to join the meta game? You can basically add an achievement and give players a reward for unlocking it.

I wonder how you did the transitions, they're so smooth!

Thank you so much for playing it on stream!!

You buy the teleportation orb for 1x Crystal. Then you can use it with T

I won't repeat what's already been said, so I'll just list some things  I've noticed:

1. The game loop is fun, but the levels don't really change much. Sure, some platforms change ways, but it's not groundbreakingly different to warrant a level system. You could've done a parcour with checkpoints and it would've worked better imo.

2. The longer I played, the less I strategised. In the end, I just yoloed and improvised. That could be a game design flaw depending on what direction the game goes.

All in all, it was a fun game  that controlled great (which is important in these games)

Thanks! All that was on the list, but - 7 days xD

How is the mining not up to par? Do you have any ideas on how we could've designed it to be more fun? :)

I meant audio libraries or VSTs for the cool Western music

I like the background pattern that feels incorporated into the itch page (the shop)

This is really cool! I like how you kept it simple and used the core of the game for the main menu and shop as well

The art style is beautiful despite being simple! It's enjoyable and the sounds work well with the simple art. I think the shop could autocontinue when you can no longer purchase anything and we definitely do not need to see the same introduction tutorial everytime we retry after dying.

We had a really similar idea! Yours is really fun and I think more addicting than ours :) Can I ask you how you did the tunnels? Because we also discussed this and I did some research and apparently a line renderer could be used?

For some reason I can't spin enough to get over the hill :( aside from that I like the idea
