Rock Declutterer
It's time to cleanup your rocks. Inspired by the popular Bubble Spinner game, but with rocks. I ran out of time to make music 😭
HBA!
Modes
- classic: one board with every color, shots bounce off the side walls
- modern: starts with 3 colors and every cleared board brings one more, up to 6, and adds 1 to the score multiplier. Shots bounce off every wall and are spent on their 6th bounce
- versus: two players on one pad, online available on non-web builds as it's experimental now
Controls
Keyboard/Mouse:
- mouse or arrows: aim, hold shift to turn slowly
- Touch screen supported as well, trying to get this working everywhere!

- p: pause
- escape: quit
Gamepad:
- dpad or left stick: aim, hold the right trigger to turn slowly
- a or x: fire
- start: pause
- hold select: menu, a quits, x toggles the fps counter
Versus
Versus is two players on one screen, a gun on each side of the screen:
The players sit at either end of the console facing each other, so the buttons are laid out for a screen seen from the side.
- left player: dpad up and down swing the gun, right fires, left turns slowly
- right player: the top and bottom face buttons swing the gun, the left one fires, the right one turns slowly
- or the stick on your side aims, click it to fire
Bank a shot off the wall into the other gun to make it fire whatever it has loaded. A gun that was hit can't be set off again for 10 seconds.
- keyboard: wasd and the arrows stand in for the two button diamondser

i kept thinking the arrow controls were inverted, until I understood, that you just guide the line and not from the canon's perspective
Thank you for not adding music so I can listen to music from elsewhere while playing and not feel like I'm dishonoring someone's work

Also the rocks look like candy, so I had a great time feeling hungry while shooting them
wow. idk why but i really love this. the rough graphics. the sfx. kind of everything. great work with moonscript and everything but the cocaine high i get from a bounce shot while the thing is spinning... bravo vince
if it had a style system this might usurp tetris as my classtime burner of choice
On the web version I get a something broke error. When downloading the .love file and extracting I'm not sure how to actually run the game.
Honestly, the sound design is so immersive I didn't even feel the lack of music,
honestly i like the lack of music. lets me play it while i listen to mike duncan's history of rome podcast
what is this love file
I tried Modern mode and stopped at 76 points on the first board. A blue-group clear took me from 33 to 50 as other rocks fell away, which made breaking a connection feel worthwhile. One right-wall bank shot also raised my score from 16 to 19. The rotating small group at the end was much harder to line up; I have not cleared the board yet.
Nice game, a bit of puzzle bobble with the spin twist. Maybe more dopamine triggers and more visual feedbacks and effects? I enjoyed trying to hit using walls, It felt amazing to hit a perfect shot using the wall.
Well that was fun! I wanted to stop myself at 10 Million Points, but the game is so addicting I just had to do a few more runs :)

I HATE THIS FUCKING GAME IT'S EXTREMELY WELL MADE AND ADDICTING AND THE CAUSE OF AT LEAST 8 DAYS WHERE I WENT TO BED AT LIKE 4 AM.

okay the only thing I dont like is that there is less space at the top and bottom then there is on sides, I am okay but then I decide to rotated and sudenly I am dead. apart from that realy cool game

Great game, however if you declutter too early and are left with one or two rocks then you just have to shot and hope you don't run out of lives. Maybe is intentional, in my opinion if kinda goes against the feeling of the game.

I recommend:
- The ability to shoot between two rocks and really get in the cracks
- Maybe more incentive to clear early? I feel like I could just keep shooting near the end of the level and point farm.
I got this far, and then the game froze. The alert sound kept playing, but could not interact with anything.
Simple, addictive, fun, and original. No bugs. A great game!
