Great video! It still needs to be optimized for NTSC machines, which will be done in the next release.

V1.4 is out: the PRG is now packed (28 KB instead of 51 KB), and the D64 has a fast loader, so on a real C64 with a 1541 the game starts in about 34 seconds instead of more than two minutes. Enjoy!

Hi, it will likely be available in the future; the Android version is already being tested.

Thanx Willi!

Hi Willi,

Thank you so much, I’m really glad the new balance feels fun and that you enjoyed the cherry blossom valley!

About the Xbox controller: thanks for reporting it. We found the cause, the game only listened to the controller when its inner window had focus, and that focus could get lost at startup or after pressing the Xbox button. Version 1.3.2 is now online and fixes it.

Could you give it a try and let me know if your Series X controller works again? If it still doesn’t, please tell me whether you’re playing the free demo or the full version, and whether the controller is connected via USB or Bluetooth.

Thanks again for your help!

Kind regards

Hi! The new update is now live. Thanks to your feedback we reworked the difficulty: obstacles are spaced out and no longer arrive all at once, there is less traffic, bumps and roadworks no longer leave you stuck, and the UFO beam now warns you in advance by lighting up its lane, so you can steer away from it. Please give it a try and let us know how it feels. Thanks again for helping us make TURBO 2 better!

Kind regards

Hi,

No need to apologize at all, this is exactly the kind of feedback we need! Thank you so much for taking the time to play the new version and tell us honestly how it felt.

You’re right: too many cars, oil slicks, UFOs and construction sites are coming at once and too quickly, and getting stuck so often isn’t fun. We’re already working on a new release with a better-balanced difficulty, so obstacles will appear more gradually and the game will feel fair again.

I’ll let you know as soon as it’s ready, and I’d love to hear what you think of it.

Thanks again for your support!

Best regards

done with the last release. have a nice day!

Thanks for your feedback. You can use the F11 key to switch the game to windowed mode and then close it using the ‘X’ button; a button for exit game will be implemented in the next release. Thanks!

Instead of running it from a real floppy, have you tried running the .d64 file? The real floppy currently takes up 192 KB, so there might be issues. I am working on reducing the disk size to 170 KB.

Hi, thanks for the feedback. Is the firmware on your Ultimate up to date? How have you configured the REU? Do you have any cartridges connected to the 64? Thanks again.

thank you!

Thanks! In the next releases I will optimise code and speed in uploads as well as introduce other very interesting things.

Thanks! One of my favorite sites! I check it every day! Amazing

sure!! look at the info in the main page: /__site/zeroglabs.itch.io/lemans-2

That would have been too original :). It could be done, though. Try it

Nice score!!! thank you for playing

Thanx a lot!!!

A heartfelt thank you, but there are still plenty of new things in the works for Lemans 2! Stay tuned.

You mentioned two of my favorite Commodore 64 games! Let's improve this game first, and then who knows! I'd love to create a pseudo-3D game for the Commodore 64.

thank you very much! full screen button added. I also added a scanline effect to evoke the arcade classics :)

love it
