I'm glad you enjoyed, thank you for playing!

62 pts!

Which parts were most confusing to you? And thank you for playing!

Totally agree, I def want to tweak the fuel values and make the overflow limit more clear after the jam. Thank you for taking the time to try multiple runs!

The simple visuals were nice, the sound effects and music were perfect! My wife and I had a great time playing and we couldn't stop laughing, thank you!

I really liked your art style! The environment, the character, and the UI were all so cute and cohesive. The game seemed to not end for me but I thought it was really cool that you were able to continue to gather things while the rocket was traveling. The rocket coming back looked and sounded super cool! Great job :)

The gravity felt too strong, but I really liked the art style and the details in the environment (the birds were so cute)!

I really liked the redirecting mechanic! I felt like the trash requiring multiple hits kind of slowed the game down, but the game was enjoyable and I liked the art style!

Wow I really loved the intro sequence, the game looks amazing and I had a lot of fun! Short but sweet :)

Wow there's so much content in here! The cleaning feature was awesome and I had a lot of fun cleaning and selling trash. Launching the rocket was satisfying :^)

In the beginning I was a little confused because I had to zoom out to see the sorting buckets. I really liked the sound effects and feel when you pick up and drag an object. I think it would be nice if there was an upgrade that sped up how quickly you sorted the trash, like a multi-grab upgrade.  But opening the trash bags was a cool concept! Really great job on your first game jam, congrats!

I really enjoyed the robot customization. I would've liked to have some danger that ends the run, so that you can chase higher scores. Nice job!

I had a hard time getting to buy the blaster, but I had a lot of fun playing! The ship feels very nice to fly around and the game looks and sounds amazing!

I loved the raccoon animation, the rocket felt a little slow, but the vibes were really nice and the dream thing was very cute. Nice job!

So good!!!! I think it would be cool if it replayed your path on loop before you hit the next level button

Nice! The double jump height felt a little unpredictable. But the stat progression was really fun and the proc world gen is an impressive feature. Falling to the next level was really satisfying. Nice job completing the game!

Super fun to play. I got stuck in level 2, constantly respawning on the spikes, right under the two purple moving platforms. The power ups were really fun to play with. Sound effects were great too. Really nice job!

I really enjoyed the lighting and art. The music was very nice and the ghost effect looked really cool. It all came together to make a really nice atmosphere. Great little experience, nice job!

Extremely charming art, loved the voice acting. Everything went along very smoothly and I really liked the length. Perfect little adventure. Great job!

Game looks really nice, and I like the concept and music for the different areas. My characters unfortunately got locked up in the phoenix area so I wasn't able to complete the game. Running back and forth was a little tedious but some of the fun movement options like the jumping swing were really fun to do while traveling. Nice job!

This was a lot of fun, I really like rhythm games. The notes didn't always quite line up. But I really appreciate all the original music, they sound great. And the story was really creative and charming. Nice job!

This game was so much fun to play. The concept is really out there, I enjoyed playing as a secretive trash collector. Switching the perspective to the bystander is super interesting and I've never seen that before. Nice job!

Nice game! The art is really nice, and the concept is really fun. I really liked the steady increase in difficulty. And the intro sequence did a great job of explaining the game. The sound effects were spot on too!

Nice game! The UI was a little scrunched when playing non-fullscreen. Deciding on a resolution for the game in browser, setting it in Unity's game tab and setting the resolution on the Canvas Scaler component can help you make sure everything is anchored and scaled correctly. I really enjoyed the writing. Nice job :)

Fun!  Had some trouble with the double jump, I think at certain timings it doesn't work, which was a little frustrating in some parts where you had to complete multiple jumps or fall. I really liked the level design, the power ups were fun, and the sword slash combo and powered up attacks felt nice. Good job!

Thanks for playing! All of the objects that are part of the popup effect have a script on them. The script adjusts the rotation and position of the object according to the flipping page object, this makes it look like it is "stuck" to the page. It makes it looks like the object is a child of the page without having to do weird hierarchy stuff. It also rotates the object down then back up for the "pop-up" animation.

I've just made the repository public, so feel free to check out the code. Some features (like this one) were a little rushed and might be a little messy 😅

Great idea, thanks for playing!

You are totally right, I'll make sure to fix the map in a post-jam version. Thank you for playing!

This was my favorite game of the jam so far, outstanding job! The art, music, story was fantastic. The platforming felt great, especially for a game made in 2 weeks. Having the house follow you was a great design decision. The first time I filled my magic bar I was dreading walking all the way back with no orbs to pick up but the house was right behind me, such a relief! It's also really impressive that so many people could make such a cohesive game in this amount of time, great job!

The upgrades got a little bit repetitive, I was really excited after getting the first explosion upgrade and was hoping for more effect-type upgrades rather than stat upgrades. Fighting and dodging the large number of enemies felt nice!

I like the dialogue and art style :)

The jump felt a little floaty to me, but I was really surprised that I could make my own weapons! That felt really awesome.

I really enjoyed the art! Trying out different combinations of fertilizer and discovering which plants were which seeds was exciting.

It was a little hard to select the item I wanted without any text, I kept forgetting which seed packet was which. The sand effect was very cool! I liked the concept of stopping the sand from filling up your house.

An end goal would be nice to have and keep me playing longer, it does simulate the never-ending feeling of home isolation well though haha. Having the stats screen disappear  while moving was a little annoying. There are also some balance issues, after maxing my stats I could just go back and forth between sleeping and working out indefinitely. Cool concept though, the game was pretty relatable to me and I'm sure lot's of others :)

Hey Ben, don't forget that there is a lot of randomness and variables involved with ratings and you are bound to have some low scoring games. Getting high ratings is fun but the most important thing is how proud of your work you are. Keep doing doing the great and creative work that you do!

I 100% agree with all your points. I really wish I would have made the game a little more strategic, at the moment it is more of a fun spectacle for a few minutes. Thank you for taking your time to write all that out :)

My favorite game so far, awesome work. I love the "X" and points that show up when you kill a squirrel and hitting a squirrel walking sideways with a boulder is extremely satisfying. Excellent submission!!

The lane switching is a cool concept for a game! Music and graphics and sfx are all really nice too, great submission :) Btw, what's the blue button in the bottom right do?

The game seems very ambitious and I really like the look of the game. I do find myself confused as to where I am and where I need to go. I think there might be a bug where your rotation occasionally snaps very suddenly which adds to the confusion. I think highlighting enemies through walls would make the game a lot more enjoyable, so you spend less time looking for enemies. Nice submission for the time constraint though! :)
