Nice game, smooth. I think a better use of the theme might have been to have no gun and have foxes chase you over traps to get away from the foxes.

Updated version in my development project /__site/stealthness.itch.io/in-development
The game has many flaws, but I am still learning Python and Pygame. You can jump from the top; the issue is that when you jump there, an internal timer prevents another jump. Its duration is a normal jump landing on the ground. So if you land on the wall, there is a small delay before you can jump again. The jump cooldown should be reset when you land on the ground or a wall. Thanks for the feedback, and added to the list of fixes needed.
I like this game.
One thing to adjust to improve the game: the main game has very little colour contrast, so it looks and feels dull. The quickest fix would be to change the paving stones' colour to a lighter shade of grey. The player ant would show up more clearly against the paving stones. I would also double the size of the food.
Great game. That was fun
One note: once I saw some of the tattoos, it narrowed down your search area. For example, I saw pool design earlier, so when asked to find the pool player, Pig only had to shave that small section for the pool cue. So some variation on the same possible answer could be useful.
A really good, innovative game. With more time, I think a short intro would help (skippable for those who like to rush in). With the pixel art, half of yours is black outlines (all the sheep), and the other half is not (the dragon hand and background). Be consistent; pick one and stick to it. It makes a difference in the look and feel. I would also put a small border and panel backdrop around the timing and score UI elements.
Great submission.
A wolf will be added next. It walks on the side and eats sheep. It would take 3 shots to kill (with a slow reload) have to balance shooting the sheep and selecting sick sheep before they die.
The other idea I had was to have an object that could hide the sheep, and you have to interact with them to reveal hidden sheep. Things like hay bales, bushes, etc.
Thank you for the feedback and ideas.
Well done for submitting a game. This game is functional and bug-free (If only my games were bug-free).
Some feedback, as you are new to Game James.
Grab a decent tileset (or make your own, like mine /__site/stealthness.itch.io/simple-grass-tiles). In Unity, use the repeat tile brush to cover most of the grass area, then randomly swap in different tiles here and there to break up any repeatable pattern. Using one tile as you have makes it look so blocky.
In Unity, learn how to adjust the canvas panel. Use Kenny UI assets: https://kenney.nl/assets/tag:interface, to put a background on the panel and on the buttons.
In Unity, learn how to import Fonts. Many websites offer free public-domain fonts.
These three quick-to-implement features will dramatically change your game's look.
Yes, you're correct that animation and sound would also help, but time is a luxury in this game jam. I hope the above helps.
Great submission. Sheep are so dumb, but that was part of the gameplay charm. I like the little bit of animation that you did. It is a shame you didn't have time to add sound effects; an occasional sheep bleat and dog bark would really enhance the game.
What was the game made with? (i.e., Python, JavaScript, Unity, Godot or something else)
I really enjoyed playing the game.
Thanks for the feedback.
Much of your feedback relates to incomplete or unimplemented parts of the system. The chat system, which should be the core of the logic problem, is just broken (including the infamous "test" response). Even in the complete rewrite, version 3.0, I am finding the chat system the hardest to implement.
Also impressed that you picked up on the Game's title; it was rather an obscure reference (response to community post).
This is the biggest jam I have taken part in to date, and I realise that keeping scope small is important.
