Buying the bundle is the same thing, we wanted to be able to grant lifetime access to new packs to those who purchased the bundle, but Itch.io doesn't have that feature, so we’re forced to use this less convenient solution.
We’ve written a post to explain this: /__site/pixel-boy.itch.io/free-mix/devlog/1626400/lifetime-updates
Yes, no problem, that’s what the assets are for!
Regarding commissions, we’re pretty busy for the next few months, but feel free to contact us via https://linktr.ee/pixel_archipel
Hey! The black-and-white version was made during a game jam and I recommend trying the Steam version, which is much more polished: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1765700/Quest_Of_Graal/
You can configure the controls, and performance should be better (though I can't guarantee there isn't a limit on physical elements).
There is a Godot shader included with the pack (in the root directory) that allows for most effects, but I would like to take the time to add example projects eventually.
I made a mini tutorial for the shader on pattern pack, it's not exactly identical, but close enough to be helpful: /__site/pixel-boy.itch.io/patternmix/devlog/1532869/1-add-godot-shader
They are available for free in the demo pack on this page: /__site/pixel-boy.itch.io/free-mix
If you're using Godot, the intended approach is to handle this via code:
- Add a Sprite2D as a child of the character sprite to represent the tool.
- Display the tool only when the attack animation is active.
- Synchronize the frames between the character's sprite sheet and the tool (Sprite2D nodes have a `frame_coords` property that makes this easier).
Let me know if you run into any difficulties or have any other questions!
This is the option used in the demo, for sprite sheets, you need to enable animation (by adding a CanvasItemMaterial with the "particles_animation" property checked and the animation parameters configured, you should be able to find tutorials on this if you aren't familiar with it).
I could release a pre-configured example project, but in the meantime, I hope this helps.
I've added the "full bundle.zip" here: /__site/pixel-boy.itch.io/free-mix
I'm wondering if you have access to it since you purchased the bundle? If not, could you send me a private message on one of our social media so I can send you a key?
