hehe

it's something like that, yes. keep investigating :)

Thank you!

Thank you!

I hope that "old style" AI (procedural generators, algorithmic search and solvers, etc) is acceptable :)

Glad you like it!

hehe, thanks I guess?
I have ideas for a possible sequel some day... but perhaps more levels are also possible.

Very cool!

Nice mechanics!

Excellent

Very nice!

Glad yo hear!

Glad to hear! Enjoy!

I thought about this, but it requires maintaining some sort of server somewhere.

If there are cheap or free options easy to configure perhaps I'll try it when I make more games with scores like this.

MatChess is a Solitaire game inspired by Chess and the Match-3 genre.

Your goal is to promote all the pawns in the board, making valid Chess moves but with a twist: each piece you move will make two squares swap places, potentially provoking matching colored squares to disappear and be replaced by new colored squares. Moves that don't provoke matches are invalid.

Good luck!

Great mechanics!

You're welcome! I hope the size of the cards is adequate. I did not want to enlarge them too much as to not reduce the maximum number of cards in the board.

Excellent mechanic!

Nice!

hehehe yes, it's one of the extremes you can do with this system

Hi, I just uploaded a new version using Godot's OpenGL renderer to hopefully avoid certain compatibility issues with older machines. I hope it works for you! Please re-download the game and try again. Good luck!

Hi! what version do you use? windows, linux, or mac? I could not test the mac version because I don't have a mac :(

You're welcome, and thanks for the kind words!

Very nice!

I'll think about it!

Great!

It seems to be the optimum but I don't know how to prove it.

Perhaps at some point I'll change the growth pattern (or add several options).

Thanks!

Nice!

Thanks!

Congrats, it's also mine!

I think it can be improved, but I suspect it would require a very high population.

Perhaps some adventurer here will find a better record...

Glad you enjoy it! making AI for these games is one of many things I have no idea how to approach so I'll take a look later :)

Glad you enjoyed it!

Not at the moment, sorry!
