I wish I had been able to see that story play out

I think I said it in the video, but I could see this as a great mobile game I sporadically play a few rounds in while waiting for the bus. Once I understood the mechanics (which is just a matter of better onboarding/tutorial), I enjoyed the thematic puzzle solving - we actually had pretty similar design of giving core clue mechanics via text, if you've given my game a try.
Sorry, seemed like my mic didn't record that session for some reason. My overall impression is that I really liked the art and characterization, just wish that I could have seen more of it. Felt like I spent a lot of time walking and restarting felt a bit punishing because of how much walking I had to do to get back to where I was. If Jack moved more quickly, it would make the navigation part of gameplay feel less frustrating and would let me focus on the more fun stuff like the puzzles!
The music also felt a little bit off in vibe, I expected something more spooky.
Great work overall! It's a cohesive and playable game with clearly a lot of work.
I recorded a gameplay video, but messed up, so the video section was the wrong focus (it's my weather app icon lol). However, it does have almost 30 minutes of audio as I'm playing, so I hope that helps. I'm so sorry I messed up and didn't capture the video!
Got stuck at the Sudoku puzzle, couldn't drag the tiles, and couldn't seem to continue past that.
Cute character art and awesome voice acting! The writing was fun and gave me a few laughs!
Can't seem to run it. It installs but launching doesn't do anything. Itch sandbox found a second file that seems to be your zipped game, but you currently have a very tiny file (650kb) as your main exe. The other zip is taking FOREVER to download, maybe there's some optimization you missed here.
Got the 2nd version to load and launch, so I think you just have the wrong exe being pointed to. You'll need to fix that before people can actually rate the game.
