The City... is a short sweet game about exploring public transport stops in a city of opposing dichotomies. You play as a transport worker and describe each and every stop along the way until the end of your shift.

My city was one of wet/dry and crystal/plant. I went through 5 stops on my daily route.

A short micro-game made for the 36-Word jam, this game asks you to give up your memories dreams and regrets to a lantern as you attempt to stave off the darkness.

Each round you roll 1D6 and if you roll 5-6, the lantern lights, otherwise it dims. If you ignite it three times, you escape. The game never says that if you reach 3 Dims it ends, but that's how I interpreted the rules for my playthrough.

I wrote my game in verse about a royal courtier with high ambitions who sold their soul to the devil, who got taken in the darkness in the end. You can read my playthrough HERE

You are a House is exactly what it says in the title. You play as home, an apartment, mansion, duplex, or whatever else you desire, as you welcome in your newest residents. Through the 5 Acts you'll cover your sale, the settling in, older tenants, and finally your future.

The game plays like most Anamnesis games, where you separate the tarot into their suits, draw one major for an overall tone setter, three cards for their corresponding questions for each act, and then one final major card for the conclusion.

I played as a mansion on a snow mountain who was cursed and held more than one terrible secret. You can find my playthrough HERE

Made for the 48 Word RPG Jam, this bookmark-sized game has you write out a letter. To Who, about what, and whether you should send it are all determined by the card you drew.

I wrote a letter about a person who was "breaking up" with a long term friend who had largely already left their life, with some small hints that there might have been something else going on between them.

The Spirit Library is a vast collection of spirits contained and catalogued in jars. You're job is to identify and label each new spirit brought to the library.

First you must identify what kind of spirit it is by drawing a card from the deck and flipping a coin. Then you answer a set of seven questions to about the entity contained in the jar.

Tormented by remorse or guilt, you have become lost in some place strange and something wants to kill you.

Weird is a solo game about exploring an unfamiliar location and enduring the trials and tribulations and hopefully making it out alive (although this is somewhat unlikely).

The game uses a shortened version of solitaire as a mechanic, where each round you attempt to place as many cards as you can on the Aces in order. Once you run out of cards you receive a "Message from Outside", then shuffle the deck and keep drawing.

The game ends once you have placed all 9 cards (2 -8 + A) on the table.

The art was beautiful, I loved the dithering, and the writing top notch with the line between gore and eroticism with the robots nicely blurred.  I also especially loved getting to kill Claude.

A beautiful weird tale about the horrors of the ocean and the loneliness and destructivness of industrialization

A great, surreal metaphor with wonderful art. A lesser story would have tried to explain the situation, but this one knows just how much not to give the audience.

A short but tight story with very lovely story-book art! I'm glad the MC got what she needed in the end

Thank you so much, I'm so sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for hosting!

Hello! There isn't one, the current versions have be updated to reflect this. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I'm so sorry about that, it should be fixed now!

Very cute! Very fun! Full game took me around 45 min to complete.

Hi! You got all the info right, but I think you're overthinking it a little bit.

I hope this is helpful, but if you feel that itch is taking too much you can change the cut that itch takes by going into your account settings and clicking on 'revenue sharing'. It even allows you to set it to 0. Go get that 💰!

Thanks for the heads up with the number that's definitely a glitch.

I think you may be missing the two that require people's full names to access since they are the most difficult to find and one leads to the other. The best hint I can give is: gel gb svther bhg jub znqr IVBYRG.  (ROT 13)

If you're still having trouble the answer is: Fgnpv ZpQrnegu  (ROT13)

Let me know if you need any more help!

Extremely impressive use of Dialogic! I never would have thought to build a battle system using it, but it worked really well! Incredible!

I played the game about 6 years ago and havent stopped thinking about it since. Still one my my fave solo ttrpgs

Does it keep crashing in the same spot for you?

Unfortunately you might have better luck downloading the game, but you can skip through most of the dialogue by holding down CTRL, but that might end up causing other problems with the phone

You dont think its worth examining why a vague word has come to replace all the complexities of narration and boil it down into the same thing and what that could indicate about how people are engaging with media and how people are thinking about media?

The point is that the word isnt convenient, its anti intellectual which robs people of being able to discuss topics in more specific and nuanced ways. It is too broad and has subsumed every word to describe narrative components.

If somone asks me "whats the lore" there are at least 5 different things they could mean. Which is inconvenient and useless because I have to ask clarifying questions. Just say "backstory" or "plot point" or even "information".

Whatever word you are using "lore" to replace  you should use that word instead. "Lore" is just the current trendy word to say and I cant wait for it to die out.

Making every major character a major asshole was a very good and correct choice. And adding a second co-dependent character made all character dynamics much more interesting, though I do wish you could have used that relationship more to your advantage. The manipulative relationship between the actors is definitely what I found most compelling and I wish we could have seen more of it.

Did you try the full name of the courthouse?  Its: Juvgroebbx Pbhagl Pbhegubhfr  (ROT13)

Hello! Quick question: where did you get the name Willowbrook from? The town's name is Whitebrook and I need to make sure I didn't make a typo anywhere.

yes! yes! YES! let games be finished! let them be dead!!!

Creepy pastas were the source of the thought originally and how they evolved from individual short stories, then to the SCP format, then to just the backroom wikis. And I started to wonder how and why this happened and how it coincided with the language shift of calling everything "lore".

You are so right about vn character designs and poses *chef kiss*

I was so close to adding a sound effect but then i got lazy

Yes yes yes! My favorite part of playing kings field was realizing that i was on a part of the dungeon that wasnt mapped! And then getting a more complete map, and then finding out that it still wasnt perfect!!!!

realism is the death of art!!!!

you are so fucking right and you should say it. I had someone tell me that my narrative deduction game had too much text once and i wanted to loose my shit

fuuuuuuck i'm so glad someone else put into words what i've been thinking about. so many games try to emulate things without thinking about WHY those components exist in the original game and it's all just regurgitated vomit

♥️♥️♥️♥️

the amount of times i've seen people ask "whats your dream ip to work on?" makes me want to rip my hair out

You could use regular cards to build the shelf (ie the cards on the table) and then roll a d20/RNG for the major arcana and then re-roll if you get the same number
