I picked up Pacific Drive once at random off the Xbox gamepass. I have since then had an insatiable hunger for car-based horror games, and this is another decent entry to that family.
Beginning to realize this high score stuff isn't for the faint hearted. Not due to over bearing difficulty, I have like 13 actions a turn at this point, but due to the extreme length of each round. I soldier on, maybe my family will find this journal.
This game could benefit greatly from a skip button. There comes a point where running through all my actions with a refresh build is becoming cumbersome
Game's a solid 9/10. Does way more with the premise of a man psyching himself out over a date than I expected walking into it. Art style is exceptional too, the bistro takes Art Deco design to an abstract and hellish degree. The lesson here today is that women are scary.
Yeah, buddy. This is a Twine game using Sugar Cube you could, and probably did, make in an hour twenty. Pretty low effort combined with weak humor, not impressive.

Much like "You are Jeff Bezos", this game starts from a strong base plate and immediately slip and slides it's way to mediocrity. Another poor attempt at social commentary that uses humor as a vehicle but fails to be half as funny as the first game.
