I've always been fond of Boulderdash games, going back to Rocman on the C16 when I was a kid, and a bit later the 2-player bedlam of Sullduggery on the ST.
I played this on my Jupiter Ace Emulator and found it amazing how much you've pushed the Ace to do - very smooth and fun. Wish I could say the same for my skills... I'll go back and complete level 3 at some point, I got so close and then did something stupid!
Really nice game - I've been running it in the Jupiter Ace Emulator I've built (never owned one - had a ZX81 all those years ago - but always been a bit fascinated by this computer.)
My emulator hasn't been tested against many games yet but this is one of the first ones that successfully loaded and ran the TAP :-)
If anyone wants to give the emulator a go, here's the link:
Great, many thanks. (At least I feel vindicated being cautious!!)
I suspect it has something to do with the load / save path of the level data. I was hoping that since it uses standard AGS pathname strings, that wouldn't be an issue... but looks like it is. Will see if I can work out a solution.
Thanks again!
I used this music set (and one of the fantasy ones) for my Snake game:

These tunes vibe so well with the retro feel I was aiming for with these games. Thanks so much!
Thanks so much for these tracks; I've used most of them in this game: /__site/captaind.itch.io/flow-problem :-)
