Hello,
What exactly should one imagine the gameplay to be like? Could you provide one or two examples of similar games, or perhaps a gameplay video? Best regards.
Thanks for checking it out! One Always Lives is a pretty linear, story-driven horror game in a retro PS1 style. You play first-person as six kids, one scene at a time, sneaking through Ashgrove House on Halloween 1987. You'll explore, find keys, read letters and notes, solve small puzzles, dodge traps and hide from the Hollow Man. Each kid has their own scare and their own way to die, and only one walks out. Hope you give it a try!
Thanks again for checking it out! You asked for a gameplay video, and the new trailer is now up on the page: https://youtu.be/VGzkXcvTnGw
Thanks for the info. I picked up the game—it’s fun, especially with the perspective shifts. I’d definitely recommend it. It wouldn’t launch in full-screen mode for me, though; I had to use the "Borderless Gaming" tool. Could I get a tip regarding the "There Were Six" achievement? I assume it has something to do with the basement chapter, right?
Thank you so much for picking it up and for the recommendation, that really means a lot! Sorry about the full-screen trouble, and thanks for letting me know. I'm adding a fix for that right now. As for There Were Six, it's not the basement. Look upstairs in the nursery and read the letter. Hope you enjoy the rest of the house!
